Alderney with Lion relief The pattern for the Alderney Sweater, as knitted by the wives and sweethearts of the Alderney fishermen, was lost with the evacuation of the Island during the Second World War.
Craig Osborne, founder of Channel Jumper Ltd., came up with the present design in 1974, after extensive research into its origins. This present design features the Alderney Lion knitted in relief on the chest and has a 2:2 rib bottom. It is made of the same English Worsted yarn as the Guernsey sweater.PLEASE NOTE THE PRICES LISTED BELOW WILL HAVE VAT ADDED IF APPLICABLE, POSTAGE WILL ALSO BE CALCULATED FOR YOUR COUNTRY.
